With over sixty primates spanning seven different species, including the super smart Capuchins, highly strung Marmosets, and gentle Squirrel Monkeys and Owl Monkeys, you’ll have the chance to learn diverse social structures and behavior patterns.
International Primate Rescue accepts ex-laboratory, ex-pet, and ex-zoo primates, many of which arrive with behavioral issues, offering a unique chance to develop rehabilitation methods and aid primates in recovering from negative behaviors while gaining invaluable experience. Currently caring for Marmosets, Tamarins, Squirrel Monkeys, Owl Monkeys, Ring-Tailed Lemurs, Capuchins, and Macaques, our sanctuary provides a rich environment for learning and growth.
Join our immersive three-month Internship course, designed by Sue Mousley, our founder with over 30 years of experience working with non-human primates.
